I began as a designer because I believe that design is the next step in art. I also loved the crap out of it. I think print is important because it affects more senses than the web can. Regardless, here's some of my work.
I Heart Print
Packaging/Branding redesign for Masquerade wines.
Logo redesign for "The Hush Sound." The challenged was to try to create a mascot or character that conveys the sound of silence, or a hushed sound. Now we have "Hushie" the Owl.
Abstract logo for a special effects company. Tried to convey starlight, movie camera, and the 3 founders and beams of light.

Print is a Passion of mine. The poster, the menu, the magazine, even ephemera (the stuff you throw away) is the way we can communicate information in this visual age. And so pretty, amirite?

I want to tell you a secret. Once I wanted to be an Illustrator. Then I heard about Graphic Design and was hooked.
But I still love illustration and photography, as well as playing with both in Photoshop.

If I could do anything, I think I would design book covers every day of my life.
In November of 2012 I decided to design a book cover every day. You see some of the fruits of that to the right.
I also love quotes and have recently started trying to design a meme or pretty visualization of some of my favorite quotes.
